  • The Central European House of Photography in Bratislava assembles important works of Slovak photographical history. The centre as well as other cultural attractions of the CENTROPE region will become more easily accessible thanks to the new pilot project “Culture and Tourism Marketing Tool – Exploring CENTROPE together”.

    Tourism cooperation in CENTROPE: joint destination marketing. With the launch of the pilot activity “Culture and Tourism Marketing Tool – Exploring CENTROPE together” the tourism agenda of CENTROPE is getting a new boost. more >>>

  • The designs and buildings of Josef Hoffmann are the essence of a new cooperation between the MAK Vienna and the Moravian Gallery Brno that puts forward the common cultural heritage of the CENTROPE region. Credits: Archive of the Moravian Gallery Brno

    “Traces”: a new project focusing on common architectural history in the cross-border region. The project – a venture involving the Vienna Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) and the Moravian Gallery in Brno – is to promote architecture and design tourism within the region. more >>>

  • The Öresund Bridge opened in 1999 has ever since connected the shores of Denmark and Sweden and thus has become the corner stone of the cross-border Öresund region.     CENTROPE and its peers. CENTROPE is one of only a few cross-border metropolitan regions in Europe, which are unique in their high degree of urbanisation and economic clout. Joint location development, large-scale commuting and labour market management are some of the themes that bind these cross-border initiatives together. more >>>
