Newsletter 3/2007

Like many other things in life, logistics, too, is about doing the right thing at the right moment. According to one definition, logistics means providing the “right” quantity and quality of the “right” goods at the “right” moment in the “right” place for the “right”, optimal price. In this edition’s centrope.news interview, the area manager for South-eastern Europe of Kühne + Nagel, Friedrich Macher, expresses his belief that CENTROPE is the “right” region to develop an outstanding logistics profile. Moreover, the Danube, too, has the “right” potential to become an efficient logistics hub for goods transport from and to Central, Southern and Eastern Europe – if existing weak spots, such as the river section between Bratislava and Vienna, are eliminated.

We wish you a relaxing summer and a pleasant read!
