Issues like accessibility, infrastructure development and public transport dominated the agenda of the second CENTROPE Summit held in Tomášov/Bratislava in December 2011.   • Tomášov near Bratislava, December 2011: For the second time, a CENTROPE Summit  assembled top politicians of the region to decide on key issues for a more integrated cross-border region.

  • Opening in June 2012, the state-of-the-art Skylink terminal at Vienna International Airport will double the available terminal space 
at CENTROPE’s main entrance point from the air. Developing ambitious large-scale projects is an important contribution to a more efficient and interconnected infrastructure in CENTROPE.

    Infrastructure development is to enhance competitiveness. The issue of infrastructure growth, upgrading and interconnection has an important place in the CENTROPE political co-operation agenda. The pilot activity INAT is aimed at the concrete goals to be achieved, in order to support cross-border mobility and further connect CENTROPE to Europe. more >>>

  • CENTROPE, the place that continues to bestow the world with innovation and creativity: Josef Hoffmann’s seminal Palais Stoclet in Brussels testifies to the enduring story of what makes CENTROPE special. Cross-border tourism cooperation that revolves around the region’s architectural heritage from the modernity époque also makes this point, to citizens and visitors alike.

    Understanding a common history of diversity. What seems a rather diverse region today was even more diverse and multicultural in the past.
